Accommodations

The living accommodations are on the far southern end of Big Island.  The area consists of a main house, guesthouse, boathouse, and covered docks along with two outdoor stone barbeque fireplaces.  One fireplace has a covered roof and is adjacent to a “fish-cleaning” hut.  The compound also includes a large permanent cedar tent platform that accommodates a 6-person canvas tent (set up all season).  The platform is large enough to provide for a roomy front deck.

One portion of the residential end of the island is heavily treed with spruce and pine and is the location of the covered fireplace and fish hut.  Spectacular sunsets over the lake are best viewed from this area.
